Hello from the Wig Spa Canada family,

I'm Cassandra Sutherland, a proud Canadian wigmaker and the heart behind Wig Spa Canada. Thank you so much for your continued support. I wanted to take a moment to keep you in the loop with some current updates regarding inventory, shipping, and a few behind-the-scenes realities.

Inventory + Pre-Orders

You may notice that some of our most-loved styles are currently low or out of stock. I want to be honest with you: I’m currently navigating a challenging divorce that has affected inventory flow and access to shared business resources. While this has temporarily slowed restocking, I’m actively working through it—and fighting hard to bounce back. Pre-orders are now open for select wigs and typically ship within 2 weeks.

 

Why pre-order?

• Lock in your favourite before it sells out

• Be first in line when restocks arrive

Shipping Update–Possible Canada Post Disruption

A potential Canada Post strike is looming, with the current contract set to expire May 22, 2025. While it’s not confirmed, I want to be proactive in keeping you informed:

• If a strike occurs, we’ll be using UPS for most orders.

• Good news: In many areas, UPS shipping rates are comparable to Canada Post.

• Bonus: I’ll be covering the additional cost for UPS in certain areas to help keep shipping affordable and on-time.

• Tip: If you live in a rural area or don’t have home delivery, consider shipping to a local UPS Access Point for smoother service.

International Shipping & Duty Info

 

For US Customers:

Due to evolving trade policies, some orders may be subject to duties and tariffs—especially if the value exceeds $800 USD. These fees are set by US Customs and are beyond our control.

We always recommend checking with your local customs office if you’re unsure. Please know that:

• Duties/taxes are the customer’s responsibility

• We are doing our best to absorb costs where possible

• Wig Spa Canada will always communicate clearly about potential changes

For Australia & UK:

Import fees and VAT may apply. Check with your local customs office for specifics.

For Canadian Customers:

​

No import fees apply—everything is shipped from Alberta.
